Solar Panels can get dirty over time reducing their efficiency and power generation. We were approached through our partners – checkatrade – to remove dirt and lichen from a roof-mounted solar panel array. 

Solution

The team applied a diluted specialist biodegradable cleaning agent to effectively remove stains, lichen, bird droppings, and pollen spots. Like many homes, this property presented some challenges in accessing all areas. To tackle this, the team utilised our long-reach water-fed pole equipped with a bristle roller, ensuring a thorough rinse and a streak-free finish. Additionally, all frames were meticulously cleaned, leaving the entire surface spotless.
