Jonathan Hardy
Managing Director
Devon Surface Care was born out of Jonny’s passion for facilitating transformation and growth for people through the service industry sector. His strong faith, work ethic, and values shape our company culture, creating a supportive environment where our team can reach their full potential and our customers receive the highest standard of workmanship. Combined with his keen business acumen, this foundation has made Devon Surface Care the respected regional supplier it is today.
Helen Ashton
Sales and Customer Service
Helen is deeply committed to helping others realise their full potential, whether creating opportunities in the workplace, working with women in her reflexology practice, or rescuing chickens. If you’ve connected with DSC, there’s a good chance you’ve spoken to Helen. We admire her passion for exceptional service and her drive to continuously improve our business.
Harry Hunt-Martin
Operations Manager
Harry is an avid rock climber and nature lover who can often be found wild camping with his dog out on Dartmoor. With a people-focused approach and a background in the trades and project management, Harry brings creative solutions that enhance our operations and strengthen the team, along with a commitment to providing a great working environment for our employees.
Mary-Ann Martin
Office Manager
Mary-Ann (known to most as M) is always on the go, whether she’s managing the family farm, spending time with her grandchildren, or enjoying a well-deserved G&T somewhere sunny. Her natural knack for organisation and attention to detail make her an invaluable asset to DSC, where she keeps everything running seamlessly. With M at the helm, the company operates like clockwork, benefiting from her dedication both in and out of the office.
Ben Deacon
Site Supervisor / Operations Deputy
Ben is well-known for his charm and easy-going personality. When he’s not hard at work, he loves spending time with his family, taking care of his tropical fish, and walking Rocky, his Cane Corso. He brings a mix of expertise and warmth to the team, highly skilled with a sharp eye for detail that sets him apart. He’s the kind of person who makes everyone feel at ease while consistently delivering outstanding results.
Tim Court
Business Enabler
Tim enjoys spending time with his family by the sea, catching waves along the southwest coast. He’s also passionate about music and plays bass in the local party band, Footloose. With a strong background in coaching and team development, Tim brings positive energy to the team, helping us improve in all areas—from training new starters to enhancing our work with customers.

Lead Operator
Tom is a passionate Manchester United fan who loves tinkering with his campervan. Each summer, he organises a community football fundraiser for local charities and enjoys catching live music at gigs around the country. With years of experience in customer-focused roles, Tom knows how to exceed expectations and ensures every job is done right. His enthusiasm and hands-on approach make him a perfect fit for the team.
Scott Yelland
Lead Operator
Scott loves a good festival, whether it’s Glastonbury or Truckfest; he’s always up for a muddy field filled with live music and comedy. A fan of anything with an engine, he’s also the fastest member of the team on the go-kart track! With a wealth of experience, Scott thrives on variety, taking on everything from restoring patios to commercial roof cleans. His versatility and enthusiasm make him an invaluable part of the team.

Joe embodies quiet confidence, always striving to grow and improve in every aspect of his life. Whether dedicating himself to the gym or giving his all on the football pitch, he embraces every opportunity to push his boundaries and achieve more.
